I love that your story is really about a new chapter; a chapter that emerged when your daughter’s story began. It is amazing how one person can have such a profound rippling effect on so many others, especially by one so small and adorable. Thank you for sharing.
Shannon, Have you ever really wondered where we find life changing meaning? I really thought that only big events change our lives, but then I became more aware of all the things going on around me and what was helping to shape me into the person I could become. I feel that the future tense "become" is most appropriate because what we are today can change based on decisions made today. I like how you connected this to your story and the decision to pursue teaching "again." The big event becoming a mother had an impact on your life (that's obvious), but what sparked the desire to re-dedicate yourself to teaching... something big or a lot of small things that when combined have a greater impact... likely its all the small things. You have and will continue to marvel at all the milestones Raylie will reach like walking and first words, yet its where those steps take her and how she says those words that contain the greater joys... so too will be your journey with her and the love of teaching. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your story, Shannon. Your video really made me think about how certain events can really bring people and family together, and how sometimes simply one strong bond can make a significant different and establish very strong bonds. Your video helped us take your journey in life along with you, and really showed how important your daughter is to you. In times when my family has struggled to get along, I've always felt that we just need to be reminded of what makes us a family for us to right the ship. Great job!
I love your digital story. Raylie is beautiful and it is amazing how she brought your family together. Thank you for sharing your story.
